You probably have some questions…
Weddings are a lot of fun but also, let’s face it, a lot of work. Chances are, you haven’t done this before and you don’t know where to start.
I am 100% here to make this process as easy as possible for you.
We start with a quick phone call that allows us to discuss your specific wants, answering any questions you may have. Most of my couples are out of state so a phone call or video call is usually the preferred method of contact but if you are local, or love coming to Vermont often, we can definitely meet for a sweet treat somewhere in person ;)
Until we get to meet, here are a couple of FAQ’s answered:
What’s your approach to photographing our wedding day?
Great question! My top priority is to capture your wedding day authentically and respectfully.
You and your love is what inspires me. Not the trends, not the accolades and certainly not the publications. I believe in being fully present, focusing on the emotions and the real interactions throughout your day.
You won’t see me directing you to pose or perform for the camera (unless it’s something you enjoy and specifically ask for during our consult.) Instead, I’ll be prioritizing genuine smiles, spontaneous laughs and real moments over the staged scenes. My goal is to document the true essence of your celebration, emphasizing the people and moments that matter most to you, rather than the details often highlighted in typical wedding photography. This approach ensures that when you look back at your photos, you'll see the real story of your day, filled with real people and real emotions but in an elevated way.
How soon after our wedding will we be able to see our images?
I have a 4-6 weeks guarantee for all my wedding/special event clients. I always try to deliver a good sized 'sneak-peek' within 24-48hrs of your day so that you can share them with friends and family and get you all excited for what’s to come. Once received, your custom gallery will be available to download immediately.
how many images will we receive?
I tend to be very generous with the amount of pictures I give/shoot. :) It usually depends on the time we spend together. For family and portrait sessions I average about 50 pictures/gallery. For weddings, about 950 pictures, depending on hours of coverage and number of photographers covering the event.
do you edit all of the images?
All the images included in your online gallery will be edited to match my style.
Cropping, exposure and color correction are the three main edits done. Upon request, I can also do light retouching.
I have a warm, true to life color esthetic with a bit of a punch when it comes to contrast. I also LOVE black and white photography and usually deliver about 30% of the final gallery as that. I started with black and white film in college so that’s where my roots are. If you want more black and white I can definitely deliver more, just let me know what your preference is.

wedding vendors I love
One of the best parts of my job is that I am constantly surrounded by amazing talent. I’ve had the pleasure of working and/or meeting with some amazing service providers here in Vermont and beyond over the last years and would love for you to get the chance to work with the best. I get asked for vendor suggestions all the time and I thought this would be a quick and useful resource for everyone that needs it.
Please do keep in mind that these wonderful people do not work for me and we are in no way associated. I simply love and follow their work and think they are amazing at what they do. I highly recommend doing your own research and reading all of their online reviews before booking them.
