Intimate Sunset Wedding in North Bennington | Vermont Wedding Photographer

This next weeding is close to my heart… Truth be told, I might be a little bit subjective about it as these two beautiful people are good friends of ours. They got married in front of family in friends about a month after this happened. Signing the marriage license and exchanging rings before, happened organically. They simply wanted to have an intimate ceremony in one of their favorite places and take some of the wedding pressure off. It made for such a sweet event. The day was as close to perfect as it could be. The most amazing sunset light bathed them in a warm honey glow.

If you ever feel like a big formal wedding is too stressful, go do you.

Andrea and Matt's Romantic Vermont Wedding at The Mountain Top Resort | Vermont Wedding Photographer

Andrea and Matt. What can I say. Some people are just pure nuggets of gold walking around with their hearts bursting with love and goodness. Fun, kind, beautiful souls. So happy they managed to find each other in this lifetime.

Their wedding was pure joy to capture. Intimate. Short. Sweet. Love filled.

They chose to have two separate getting ready houses. Meadow's Edge for the groom and Mountain Aire for the bride. Both wonderful choices. Mountain Aire is my top pick at the resort. It is nestled in the woods on a dead end road. It's peaceful, spacious and bright. The kitchen is an absolute dream and the view is wonderful. It also has a tree house attached which makes it even cooler.

After the ceremony on The Knoll with the Green Mountains as their backdrop, they had a cozy and intimate reception diner at the Mountain Aire right in the living room by the stone fireplace. The in house chef prepared the meal right in that perfect kitchen I mentioned earlier and that also added even more to the already wonderful experience.

Photographers New Years Resolution

Do you know what my last years resolution was?

To renovate a house in 2 months and blog more.

Apparently that was a tall order. Yes, technically, I just compared blogging to renovating a house because clearly I have not accomplished any of these two goals. And I find both to be just as hard.

So, I will now proceed to blog in one last day  (actually, 7 hours) what I did not blog this whole year...

As Enso (my 4 year old) would say:  Ready. Set. Go!! :))

Tickle time!

“I will love you forever; whatever happens. Till I die and after I die, and when I find my way out of the land of the dead, I’ll drift about forever, all my atoms, till I find you again…”
— The Amber Spyglass By Philip Pullman

These two amazing humans are my favorites in the whole wide world. I don't know what I would do without them… (most likely take a nap). They brighten my day even when I can't imagine my day brighter. They are my everything...
